Patent Risk Intelligence
Purpose
Section titled “Purpose”Patent Risk Intelligence is the CORTEX surface for patent-related decision pressure. It helps product and R&D teams understand where external patent activity may affect product, market or investment decisions.
External pressure
Section titled “External pressure”Patent applications, grants, expiries, disputes, licensing pressure and geographic coverage gaps can create strategic exposure before they are visible in product planning.
It may consume public patent data, product or technology context, market geography, citation references and customer-approved product context.
Output
Section titled “Output”It may expose patent pressure briefs, exposure scores, monitoring outputs and decision-context summaries for product and strategy teams.
Evidence boundary
Section titled “Evidence boundary”Patent Risk Intelligence must preserve source-backed decision evidence for patent-source claims. It distinguishes source evidence from legal interpretation and customer-specific IP strategy.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”It does not provide legal advice or replace patent counsel. It does not determine infringement, validity or freedom-to-operate as a legal conclusion.
